Of all the grand American hotels, few are more fabled than the Greenbrier, nestled in the ruggedly beautiful mountains of West Virginia. This opulent resort is justly famed for its style, cuisine, amenities, service and setting and for many years, our clients have asked us to put together a fall escape to this grand hotel. We have designed a virtuoso holiday, with visual wonders, enormous luxury and best of all, a vintage train to whisk our guests to the Greenbrier via the spectacular New River Gorge route, commonly believed to be the most impressive train trip in the East in terms of scenery. We are running our own classic streamliner, the Greenbrier Limited with club car seating, big windows, an attentive staff and an open bar, allowing guests to enjoy Manhattans on the way to the Greenbrier, much the way elite travelers did fifty years ago.

Nicer still, not all of the luxury on this trip is at the Greenbrier for after two magical days at this resort, we drive north to Pittsburgh for a three-night stay at the marvelous Omni William Penn Hotel. During our stay in Pittsburgh, we have time to visit its great museums, tour its various neighborhoods and best of all, on a very special day, tour the scenic Pennyslvania Laurel Highlands and its majestic waterfalls and then tour Falling Waters, the iconic home by Frank Lloyd Wright.

With two of the finest hotels in the country, a vintage train, comprehensive sightseeing, grand dining and a leisurely pace, this stylish holiday, at the perfect time of the year for autumn colors will fill quickly. We invite you to join us.
